Does your home contain potentially harmful lead paint?

If your home was built prior to 1978 it could contain lead paint. Starting April 2010, the Renovation, Repair and Replace (RRP) law as set forth by the EPA will take effect. This rule states that any professional working on a pre-1978 home that contains lead paint will be required to follow lead safe work practices, in instances where the paint will be disturbed.

In order to comply with this new law, Portland Glass has been certified by the EPA as a Lead Safe Certified Renovator. This means that Portland Glass follows federal work safe lead guidelines including lead testing, containing the work area and thorough cleanup.
