G-12 Guarantee

12 Month Windshield Breakage Guarantee

Portland Glass® guarantees that if your windshield is damaged or broken within 12 months of the replacement date resulting from a normal road hazard, Portland Glass® will repair or replace the windshield glass only. The guarantee is only redeemable ONE TIME and does not include: labor, kit, molding or clips. However, coverage for these items may be purchased at the time of the original installation.

Portland Glass® will make a concerted effort to repair the windshield first. The repair process will NOT cancel the remaining term of your guarantee.

Windshield Replacement

We warranty the installation of the windshield or rear window for as long as you own the vehicle. This means that your new windshield or rear window will be properly installed and sealed by an experienced Portland Glass® technician. It will not leak unless it is broken or the car rusts around it, in which case there is no coverage under the warranty. Should you ever have a problem with leakage of your windshield or rear window, or are dissatisfied for any reason, just contact any Portland Glass® location and we will be happy to schedule an appointment to determine if the work is covered by warranty.

If our original work needs adjustment, we will do it at no cost to you. At Portland Glass®, we think we are the best in the business, and we are ready to stand behind our work and to stand behind you, our customer.

This warranty covers only the replacement mentioned above, and does not cover any incidental or consequential damages. There are no warranties that extend beyond those expressed. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages and/or do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above statements in this paragraph may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific, legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Windshield Repair

The windshield repair process is designed to prevent the spread of damage from the initial point of impact. Portland Glass®, the premier windshield repair company in Maine, Vermont and New England, guarantees the visual appearance of every windshield repair and is committed to your 100% satisfaction. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the result of the repair process, Portland Glass® will credit the cost of the windshield repair toward a windshield replacement for as long as you own the vehicle.

The credit will be issued to the party that was responsible for the initial payment. In the event your deductible was waived for the windshield repair, you will be required to pay any applicable deductible for a windshield replacement.
